It is part of a series of machine drawings through which the artist is exploring minimal structure and form, first composing the work digitally before bringing it into the physical world. Though this work is part of an edition, each machine drawing is unique and has the potential for marginal variation.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Belfast-based artist Helena Hamilton is interested in repetition and the expressive and meditative effects created by repeated acts. Sound is the foundation of most of her work as she works across a range of new technologies, with drawing being a consistent core of her practice throughout. She uses her work as a tool to explore and further understand the physical and sonic world around her from diverse perspectives.
