RETURNS policy

We hope that you are happy with your purchase; however if you are not, you can return it to us under the following conditions:

To be eligible for a return, you must contact us by email at info@householdbelfast.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your work and state your reason for returning the work.  Your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, or damaged or for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return.

Shipping

To return your item you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

When making a return you must send the item using a fully tracked delivery service and appropriate insurance as we will not be held responsible for items missing or damaged on their return journey. Please note, we cannot accept returns unless you have kept the original packaging and are able to repackage the item securely using this. 

Damaged Items

A damaged item must be notified within 10 days of receiving the artwork. We require photographic evidence of the damage to be sent to us by email correspondence. After 10 days we cannot offer a refund on damaged work. 

A condition report is made of each work when it arrives at our storage facility and we take notes of any marks or minor imperfections on the work. We will not sell a work if we deem it to be damaged or significantly marked. However, due to the nature of the mediums used by the artists some of the works might display minor marks, fingerprints, or minor scratches that were made as part of the creative process. We will condition check and photograph the work before shipping to ensure we have a record of how it left our storage.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
